All dogs are different but have the common natural instinct to chew. It keeps their jaws strong, aids with dental and oral hygiene, and is naturally calming and stress relieving. Chewing produces 'feel good' chemicals like dopamine, serotonins and endorphins in your dog's brain.
Your dog might be a natural chewer and will take Bonno straight out of your hands, run off to a quiet place and start chewing straight away.
Or, your dog might need a little extra encouragement, or an appetizer. Try one of the tricks to introduce Bonno to your dog. It’s all about building excitement and desire.

-
Lift your energy and be excited about introducing Bonno to your dog.
-
Make a treat within a treat! Add tasty treats such as dog friendly Peanut Butter (without artificial sweeteners), Coconut Oil, Soft Cheese, or Pâté in the nooks and crannies of your Bonno.
-
Tap two Bonno’s together, or one on the floor to create noise and excitement. You don’t even need to be playing with your dog, or even near your dog... they will be intrigued by the noise and activity and come and
explore. -
Roll Bonno on the floor from hand to hand, hide it behind your back or in your hands... build anticipation and desire in your dog.
-
Reintroduce the chew several times over the course of a week.
-
Take Bonno away after 10- 30 minutes. This is building up a desire in your dog to want their Bonno. So giving them only limited access
increases Bonno's value to be a special treat.
-
Limit your dog to ‘dedicated chewing’ per day. Dogs love variety and will appreciate something different. They will also love having your attention!
Chew like nature intended
