Regularly inspect your dog's Bonno for signs of wear. Replace it when it's too short to hold, becomes a choking hazard, or if your dog can break off large pieces of the inner wood. Damage like cracking, splitting, or significant wear also means it's time to replace. Since Bonno is made from natural Mānuka wood, exposure to long periods of direct sunlight can cause splitting. Always discard large fragments to ensure safety.

Having 3 dogs I keep an eye out for great chews to keep them all entertained. From a Border Collie, a terrier and toy Poodle cross they love Bonno. In the past I have been reluctant to allow my Border Terriers to chew stick type objects. However, when I was given Bonno chews for them to try, I was very impressed. Bonno is soft to chew, this means it doesn't hurt their mouth or cause gum bleeding. The chew itself lasts and lasts. To top it off the bits chewed off are easy to clean up if WonderFul manages to sneak it inside.
I’ve found it’s great to give Azmin when I’m training the other dogs and she wants to have something in her mouth which she normally tries to destroy when she’s in high arousal.
